Ron Paul Is Still Running For President

Note: As of June 12, 2008, the Ron Paul campaign ended its historic run for President of the United States. This was three after the Washington Post and other media outlets erroneously claimed that the Paul campaign had ended the run on March 8, 2008.

The mainstream media/three-letter networks have selected John "Straight Talk" McCain as the Republican Party's nominee for President of the United States. They just waived their magic wand and made Guiliani, Thompson, Romney and Huckabee concede, drop out of the race and disappear.

The mainstream media/political machine noticed how dangerous he was to their hegemony and have long since made him disappear, but they couldn't make him concede or drop out of the race. On March 7, CBS reported that Ron Paul hinted to his supporters that he would quit the GOP race, sighting a "victory in the conventional political sense is not available in the presidential race."

While a win for Paul is quite unrealistic at this time, it's very important to realize the importance of everything that he has stood for, and all of the victories that his campaign and supporters achieved. He clearly made America aware of issues that no other candidate would voluntarily address.

As a strict Constitutionalist, Ron Paul has consistently championed civil liberties for all Americans, as well as the citizens of the world. Ron Paul was against the Iraq War, advocated the immediate return of the troops, and radical adjustments to our disastrous foreign policy. As an author of several books on economic policy, Ron Paul was and always been a harsh critic of the Federal Reserve, and sought to abolish the organization which is not federal, nor has any reserves. In the simplest of terms, he was not the perfect candidate by any stretch, but Ron Paul may have been America's final hope. For more on Ron Paul click here.
