We are at the point of wrapping up the election season, and once again you have the liberals on one side and the conservatives on the other side. Once again, Americans have the choice of voting for a Democrat or a Republican, and once again the notion of a viable third party option is not even entertained by the majority of the population.

After Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats failed to do what was demanded of them, which was to end the Iraq war and impeach the President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, one would have thought that the thought of voting Republican or Democrat would be completely unacceptable. Yet, here we are again, forced to choose between a Republican or a Democrat.

Since America, and the rest of the world for that matter, are locked in a left-right political box so to speak, we are once again forced to choose between the lesser of two evils. And again, it is up to the media to decide who is the greater or the lesser of two evils. But no matter on what side of the political isle you stand, the lesser of two evils is still evil. This is why I say "be careful what you vote for-you just might get it." Don't get it? Well I'm sure you will, so just bear with me and let me explain.

The myth of the legendary war hero, John McCain

It is quite obvious that a vote for Senator McCain is a essentially a vote for Bush's third term. McCain is a dead horse and everyone knows it. Real conservatives know it, and everyone but the staunchest of those who call simply call themselves conservatives know it. However, to those real conservatives who are ready to hold their noses and vote for this phony Republican just because the could never vote Democrat, there are few things about McCain that either the media has not mentioned, or has not mentioned nearly enough.

In a revealing article by Sydney H. Schanberg, reporting for Nation Magazine, disturbing accounts of Senator McCain's suppression of information at the request of families of POW never returned home after the Vietnam War.

" John McCain, who has risen to political prominence on his image as a Vietnam POW war hero, has, inexplicably, worked very hard to hide from the public stunning information about American prisoners in Vietnam who, unlike him, didn't return home. Throughout his Senate career, McCain has quietly sponsored and pushed into federal law a set of prohibitions that keep the most revealing information about these men buried as classified documents.

Thus the war hero people would logically imagine to be a determined crusader for the interests of POWs and their families became instead the strange champion of hiding the evidence and closing the books."

Here's a short audio clip which further confirms what veterans really think of John McCain. You can stream the audio from this page or download the clip here.

Even more shocking than his treachery against the families of POWs is the legend that John McCain supports the troops and veterans. Here are just a few examples on how McCain voted to support the troops:

McCain missed 10 of the past 14 votes on Iraq

McCain voted against the Webb amendment calling for adequate troop rest between deployments

McCain Voted Against Increased Funding for Veterans' Health Care

McCain Voted At Least 28 Times Against Veterans' Benefits, Including Healthcare

McCain Supported Outsourcing VA Jobs

Vietnam vets who have been ignored by the media, have made an all-out effort to expose McCain for what he really is: a phony war hero, a traitor and national disgrace. Wall Street wins big thanks to Barack Obama

Obviously you must be thinking to yourself that Senator Barack Obama is not only the logical choice for president, but the best candidate for president that America has had since JFK. Right? Wrong!

No, this is not a rehash of Obama allegedly being of Muslim origin, his relationship to Weatherman William Ayers or any of the smears of little significance that the mainstream media covers. What Obama supporters need to understand is that Obama is nothing but a front man for the global private banking institutions.

In total, securities and investment firms gave $9.9 million in donations to Obama's campaign. These investment institution includes the Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, and all the rest of the Wall Street banks that staged a financial coup of America in early October. Even as far back as April 2007, Obama was the top fundraiser on Wall Street, even beating out former front runners Senator Hillary Clinton and the "hero" of the September 11 attacks, Rudy Guiliani. This dispels the myth that the Obama campaign is a grassroots operation funded solely by small donations from millions of Americans.

The majority of Americans were against the recent Wall Street bailout. Congress was flooded with phone calls and the White House website was even shut down due to massive server overloads. This was clearly against the will of the people, and besides a few lone members of Congress, Democrats and Republicans circled the wagon and let the Wall Street banks bail themselves out of financial ruin as well as loot the American economy. And guess who help members of Congress change their position on the bailout. That's right, America's savior, Barack Obama.

Days after the bailout, AFP published an article that revealed that Obama helped change the votes of some members of Congress that opposed the bill.

"Maryland Democratic representatives Donna Edwards and Elijah Cummings said they had both received calls from the party's White House nominee, after voting against the original package in the House on Monday.

"It meant a lot to me that somebody who at least has a 50-50 shot at being the next President of the United States would take time," Cummings said.

Obama said during the call that he would push attempts to reform bankruptcy laws to help ill-fated homeowners escape foreclosure, Cummings said, but stressed urgent action to save the US financial system was vital.

"We will work on this, but right now we have got to straighten this out," Cummings quoted Obama as saying.'"

Aside from the fact that Obama is essentially a tool of the Goldman Sachs empire, Obama has another flaw that could be detrimental to the future of America. Part of Obama's myth is that he is the candidate of change and the candidate of peace. He was the candidate that the media built up to be the anti-war candidate due to his outspoken criticism of the Iraq war. With deceptive duplicity, the media doesn't even hide the fact that Obama is pro-war. He is just as much a proponent of war as John McCain is, possibly even more so.

Besides Obama's votes in favor of continuing the American occupation of the Middle East, his selection of Senator Joe Biden as a running mate also confirms his pro-war stance. In an article entitled "Biden, Iraq, and Obama's betrayal," think tank Foreign Policy In Focus (FPIF) reveals Obama's betrayal of his anti-war constituents :

"Incipient Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s selection of Joseph Biden as his running mate constitutes a stunning betrayal of the anti-war constituency who made possible his hard-fought victory in the Democratic primaries and caucuses.

The veteran Delaware senator has been one of the leading congressional supporters of U.S. militarization of the Middle East and Eastern Europe, of strict economic sanctions against Cuba, and of Israeli occupation policies. Most significantly, however, Biden, who chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committee during the lead-up to the Iraq War during the latter half of 2002, was perhaps the single most important congressional backer of the Bush administration’s decision to invade that oil-rich country."

America is not given a real choice

This only scratches the surface of what Americans are really voting for. Once you realize that neither candidate has even mentioned overturning the current laws in place which violate American's civil liberties, both candidates are unflinching supporters of Israel's right to continue to occupy Palestine, both support a militry strike on Iran solely for the defense of the Jewish State, both have delivered keynote speeches to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), (the pro-war organization that is currently under investigation for spying on the Pentagon), and both have policy advisers that are members of the semi-secret organization the Council on Foreign Relations, you begin to realize how both candidates are really playing to the same sheet of music.

So go ahead, pick your poison: a corrupt war monger with one foot in the grave and the bewildering choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate, or a slick-talking novice that is willing to further bankrupt the nation on behalf of his Wall Street constituents.
