A warning, or conditioning?
Earlier in the year, MTV ran two disturbing adds featuring Americans being rounded up by military stormtroopers. Many prominent bloggers commented on why MTV would run such adds. One possibility was was that the ads were attempting to warn viewers that martial law in America was an imminent threat. Another possibility was that a psyop was being conducted via ads to condition viewers to the idea of martial law in America, much like "The Siege."
Either way the timing of the ads were eerie in retrospect now that the Northcom has deployed Army troops on the Homeland for domestic operations and the idea of martial law is openly being discussed in the streets.
